Comfort Foods

We took an informal poll around the Republic and decided that comfort food is in the eye of the beholder — or rather the stomach of the eater. Some feel their tension melting away with the smell of dinner stewing in a slow cooker or the aroma of a gooey grilled cheese sandwich. Others head straight to the freezer for a bowlful of ice cream drizzled with their favorite cherry topping. And then there are the purists who want nothing but copious amounts of dark and milk chocolate covered cherries.

The good news? We’ve got you covered no matter what your comfort food cravings, so dig in!
