Your New Frozen Fave: Cherry Soda POPsicles

Today is the first official day of summer, and what could be better on a hot summer afternoon than an icy-cold bottle of your favorite Cherry Republic Cherry Soda Pop? How about a scrumptious Cherry Soda POPsicle? Here's how to give this frozen treat a cherryific upgrade that's sure to wow your kiddos this summer.

Can You Make Popsicles With Soda?

Not only can you make popsicles with soda pop (or just 'pop' as we call it in Michigan), we discovered that using Cherry Republic's Cherry Soda Pop makes one of the best frozen treats we've ever had! We used four of our most popular soda flavors — Cherry Root Bear, Cherry Lime Soda Pop, Black Cherry Cream Soda, and Cherry Peach Soda Pop — but you could also use our famous Boom Chugga Lugga Cherry Soda, True Cherry Cola, or even our Low-Cal Black Cherry Cream Soda.

How Do You Make Cherry Soda POPsicles?

One of the best things about this summer recipe is that it is so easy to make! Simply choose a frozen pop mold — we used this colorful Kolorae BPA-free mold — decide on your favorite Cherry Soda Pop flavors, and you're ready to get started.

Just fill each mold about 3/4 of the way full, insert the handle, and then freeze for at least 6 hours. Once you remove them from the freezer, let them sit on the counter for just a couple of minutes or BRIEFLY dip them in warm water to loosen them from the mold.

How Many Popsicles Does Each Bottle of Soda Pop Make?

Each 12 ounce bottle of Cherry Republic Cherry Soda Pop makes two popsicles, so if you buy a six-pack of soda, you'll have enough to make a dozen frozen treats. And if you're making enough to feed a crowd, order a case of 12 bottles and save 10%!

We think this might just become your favorite frozen summer treat!
