Bone-in short ribs*, 2-3 lbs.
Extra virgin olive oil
Season each short ribs generously with salt. Add olive oil to frying pan and bring to a high heat. Add the short ribs and brown well, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Place short ribs in a sprayed slow cooker and cover with Smoky Cherry Slow Cooker Sauce. Cover pot and cook on low 7-8 hours or on high 4-5 hours, until pork is fork-tender. (*Pork shoulder, beef brisket, boneless chicken breasts, or chicken thighs can be substituted for ribs. Cook chicken 6-7 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.)
