2016 Tailgating/Bowl Game Recipes

We had a contest for $20 Cherry Republic Gift Cards to see if we could get your best tailgating or super bowl party recipe. We had a total for four people submit recipes and the rest of you must be pretty secretive over your special recipes. Congratulations to Teri, Shelly, and Ted who's dishes were selected to win the $20 gift card, thanks for sharing your secret recipes.

Mustard-Sauce

Boneless Wings Dipping Sauce or Salad Dressing

– Teri S. Ingredients:
  • Cherry Republic Cherry Artisan Mustard – 3 Tablespoon
  • Mayonnaise – 1/2 Cup
  • Honey 1-1/2 Tablespoon
  • Pepper 1/8 Teaspoon
  • Pinch of Salt
Directions: Mix all contents together in a small bowl and garnish with fresh chives on top. Add more mustard or honey to taste. Serve as a dipping sauce for boneless wings or salad dressing. Shrimp-BBQ

Bacon Wrapped BBQ Shrimp

– Ted C. Ingredients:
  • 40 Large Shrimp Peeled and Deveined
  • Bacon 21 half slices
  • Cherry Republic Spicy Cherry BBQ Sauce
  • 40 toothpicks
Directions: Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wrap shrimp with bacon and secure with toothpick. Dip shimp and bacon into a bowl of Spicy Cherry BBQ Sauce and place on a foiled cookie sheet. Let shrimp sit for 15 minutes prior to placing in oven. This will allow seasoning of BBQ sauce to soak into shrimp. Place shrimp in oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.  

Flying Taco

– Shelly B. Ingredients:
  • 1 can re-fried beans (original or vegetarian)
  • 1 jar Original Cherry Salsa (Cherry Republic)
  • 1 diced tomato
  • 1 bunch finely chopped green onions
  • 1 lb pkg of shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican)
Directions: Spread beans on large platter or even a cookie sheet, than salsa over beans. Add the diced tomato & chopped green onions. Cover with shredded Cheese. Serve at room temperature with Cherry Tortilla Chips or Plain Tortilla Chips.  

Cherry Artisan Mustard Artisan Sauce

– Sandy M. Ingredients:
  • 1/3 Cup Cherry Artisan Mustard
  • 1/3 Cup Honey
  • 2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • ½ C Mayonnaise
  • ½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Dill Weed
Directions: In a small bowl, whisk the yellow mustard, honey, soy sauce, mayonnaise, garlic powder and dill weed together until well blended. Can be used as a dipping sauce or salad dressing.
