unbleached all-purpose flour

whole wheat flour
- 7/8

Sugar

salt
- 1/4
teaspoon
baking soda
- 1
tablespoon
baking powder
- 1
cup
chopped walnuts
- 1
cup
Dried Cherries
- 1
large egg, beaten
- 1/3
cup
cooking oil
- 2/3
cup
milk
- 1
cup
water
- 1
teaspoon
vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, mix dry ingredients. Stir in walnuts and Dried Cherries. Beat egg in a medium bowl. Stir in cooking oil, milk, water & vanilla. Add the liquid mixture to the dry mixture. Stir only until moistened, do not overmix. Pour into a well-greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
