Another Baby Arrives!
We told you about all the babies arriving to the Republic, and the second one is here! A little girl, Stella Olivia Maue, was born to her proud parents Tara Hackett and Jon Maue on Friday, the 13th, at 5:55 a.m. Stella was 8 lbs., 11 oz. and full of life! Tara, Jon, Stella and Lennon are nesting comfortably at home in Beulah.

Cherry Republic, Going Green!
Since the beginning of the Republic, we have given money to environmental and agricultural causes. Over those 20 years, we have donated nearly $400,000 to many groups around northwest Michigan. In addition, we have set a goal to "green ourselves". We now want to show off these changes to the public and are hosting a Cherry Republic "Going Green" Open House Wednesday, June 25. Come by. Funny on the march...
Humor coming next week!!! With the distractions of our wives having babies, and getting Cherry Republic ready for summer, Jon and I have been uncommonly serious in the last couple of months. We don't exactly know what we are going to do that's funny in next week's Orchard Report, and it may flop, but this is our not-so-serious attempt to make you laugh!
