Come on up! We are at the dawn of a great Memorial Day weekend! We look forward to seeing many of you soon. Cherry Republic did a company-wide "spruce up" where many of the employees went out and cleaned the property for the holiday weekend. We also have some great new products -- Cherry Hard Cider, Cherry Root Beer, new t-shirts, and Dried Balaton Cherries. We fixed the deck and entryway from the garden to the winery, and it looks beautiful. Our two cherry trees are still in bloom and after a long-overdue pruning earlier this spring, look spectacular. |

Glen Arbor, in Photographs! A few weeks ago, we saw a slide show of photographs taken by Joanne Rettke showing many of the buildings in Glen Arbor. We liked it so much that we asked her if we could show it to all of you. If you have 7 minutes and are curious about the little town where Cherry Republic resides, go here. Those of you who are already familiar with Glen Arbor will enjoy it too. Sometimes we get so absorbed in daily activities like running to get the mail or pick up a child, that we forget what a beautiful town Glen Arbor is. |

Lake Michigan Up! Good news for swimmers, boaters, fish and water enthusiasts. The level of the greatest great lake on the shores of the Republic is up 5-8 inches since last summer. This is mostly due to the great snow storms we endured here over the winter. Well worth it! Water temperatures are hovering around the mid 40s along our coast...so the swimming will be refreshing! |

Settling in! Steph and I received a "Congrats on your baby" card from Paul and Marcia Walters. In their note they wrote, "No more playing house with just one child -- this is for real now. Have fun!" And after just three weeks, we sure agree. |
