Cherry Crop Looking Good. Blossoms in 10 days... Blossom Tour this weekend!! Don Gregory, a cherry farmer near Suttons Bay told me that things are looking pretty good. The cherry crop suffered little damage, and it looks like it will be another great cherry year. Southern Michigan's cherry trees are in full bloom, and the blossoms look to be about 10 days away from full bloom up here. We've had some rain which will also help the crop. The Leelanau County Blossom Tour is this weekend. There is no fee to take the guided tour, just get on a bus and ride. For information on the tour stop by the Conservancy's Page. |
